Valve is not Opening or Closing.. Blog

If the valve is not opening or closing;

1) Dirt inside the valve.
Solution : Disassemble the valve and clean-up its parts.

2) Diaphragm may be torn apart.
Solution : Replace with the original Gevax spare part.

3) Seal may be crushed.
Solution : Replace with the original Gevax spare part.

4) Coil may be mounted in wrong position after maintenance.
Solution : Mount the coil in right way.

5) No electricity supply.
Solution : Check your wiring.

6) Line pressure may be less than the products minumum working pressure.
Solution : Check if the lie pressure is compatible with the product's differential pressure indicated catalogue.

7) Line pressure may be less than the products maximum working pressure.
Solution : Check if the lie pressure is compatible with the product's differential pressure indicated catalogue.

8) The valve choosen may not be suitable for the media passing through inside.
Solution : Check if the valve choosen is compatible with the media.

9) Ambient temperature may be greater than products range.
Solution : Check if the temperature range of the valve is compatible with your application.

10) Original Gevax spare part might not be used when re-assembling the valve.
Solution : Use original Gevax spare parts only.

11) The valve may be assembled with a missing part. 
Solution : Add the missing part and re-assemble the valve.

12) The coil voltage may not be suitable.
Solution : Check the coil voltage and see if it's suitable for your wiring.
